The building’s exterior concrete block walls and brick veneer serve as perforated shear walls which provide the primary lateral resisting systems. Its foundation and footprint offsets from the neighbor’s building so as not to impart a lateral load onto the building’s foundation and footing. The design incorporates a signature flat plate concrete entry canopy.
